RE: White worm culture



Fly/midge larvae can not be separated from the worms by flooding the
culture. They drown at exactly the same rate. And to make matters worse
their eggs can survive after the worms do not.
Get rid of them now while you still have a chance. Use the heat and water
method I described in another post. Then start your culture from clean
worms. Fly or midge larvae often have tiny black heads. Make sure none of
them make the transfer with the worms.

Then keep your cultures in containers which prevent the bugs from getting in
while still allowing air in.
