Synthetic media? What is it? I could keep white worms if I had a way to 
keep from getting mass die-offs at 80F and above.

I have not kept white worms for several years, now, because our warm 
climate made them just too tough to do. The more vigorous the culture the 
harder the crash on the first really hot day.
