That's risky as the pollution just continues to build. I prefer to do a 100%
harvest each time, and if I have leftover shrimp I either put them in a tray
of fresh sea water (where they last about 24 hours) or dump them to some
adult fish like tetras. It's important to start new hatches absolutely
regularly, otherwise you are liable to have only oversized BBS just when you
need the smaller, newly hatched ones. I think it's just a matter of not
adopting shortcuts that can bite you later. Just my opinion.
