Getting Back Into the Hobby - Questions

Hello everyone,

It's been a whole lot of years since I was in the hobby....last was about 1975
or so. From lurking and reading the posts, I can see that a LOT has changed!

I used to raise Blue Bularis, and was quite successful for that time. I now have
an apartment located about 50 miles north of Albany NY, USA, and have a basement
available to me. The temperature runs about 60 degrees F in the winter to 74
degrees F in the summer.

I'd like to get back into killifish, but I am wondering if those temps are
suitable for any particular fish, or will I need to get heaters? Also I'd like
to use smaller tanks to start, about 5 to 10 gal.

Any suggestions as to appropriate species?? Would Blue Gularis do well in these
temps? Guess you can see how long it's been, huh?? Any suggestions would be
appreciated!

Al
