RE: Java Moss
Scott this is true with hydroponics and aquaculture of most aquarium
plants, however, the likes of Java moss, java fern, and some anubias and
crypt are low light level plants and can live with almost no lights. IT
is very hard to apply the rules of terrestrial plants to aquarium plants
as well. Trust me, I have tried...lol.

"My question how far from the lights are you planets. They must be within
two feet of fluorescent bulbs to receive enough energy to grow. It is not
clear where the lights are located in you fish room. I am a horticulture
major and I am sure that I could bore everyone to death with the discussion
of the relative foot candles in proportion to the light source. Especially
light travels through water."
