Adam, if you had seen the posted pics, you would have realized that the
rack is placed along the corridor or public hallway outside my
apartment.  There's limited space and I'm happier now with central
drainage, to do away with hauling buckets.

I've not ruled out a UV unit completely but that'll take time to
implement, plus an additional tank for filtration/sump/uv/return pwrhd.

Meanwhile, if the fishes benefit from more frequent water changes, then
I'm already a happy goose!
