100 ppm is practically no salt at all. Check just how much you have to add 
per gallon to get that level. It is a tenth of a gram per liter. That is 
0.4g/G. A tsp. is about 1g so that's under a half tsp/G. Lots of folks 
have more than that, right out of the tap.

My richest current infusoria growth is in a tank I accidentally over 
salted. It was about 500 ppm this morning, and just teeming with "wildlife."

I have never had trouble getting infusoria to grow in salty or hard water. 
YMMV. [I did lousy with *Pantanodon stuhlmanni* until I learned to grow 
microbugs in 50% sea water, as a matter of fact.]
