RE: Java Moss
You know, that's not a bad idea at all. I've wanted to
try my hand at CO2, this would make a great excuse. I
use the Java Moss religiously to grow out my killie fry.
If you try it out before I do, let me know how it goes.

Subject: Java Moss
Hi Kent,
I am only successful with java moss in soft acid water with good light
(10,000K Coral-Life bulb). I am also only successful if I leave the moss
alone. If I mess with it, move it around from tank to tank, pull pieces off
it, feed too heavily in the tank, or try to grow it in bare containers -- it
always dies. Some people grow it like a weed. I am not one of them. CO2
injection sure makes it grow nice. I have thought of setting up a tank with
CO2 to just grow java moss and fern.
