As to distance, the plants were within a foot from a 15watt
flourescent "plant bulb". While in the fry containers, they
were within a foot from two 20 watt incandescents. With a pH
of 7.0, Wright has given me the idea to try oyster shells, as
the water here is somewhat soft.

Wright, let me know hot the salt works out, I'm a bit hesitant
to try that one.
