Kristi, you and I are in competition for it, so I'm not about to
tell you where to get more Java moss. :-) I'm just getting going again and 
need some, too. It took me a while to find that my water here was suddenly 
too soft, so a lot of what Sue and others gave me died or just didn't grow 
very well. :-(

I prefer it to all other plants for hiding-cover low down. In more 
decorative plant tanks, thick growths of Crypts, Chain Sword, 
Glossistigma, etc. can work. Bushy growths of Hygro are good, too.

For Epis and other surface-oriented fish, floating Water Sprite is great.

The plants are best, but if they are sparse just wind up a few more mops.
