Should be just fine if there is plenty of cover in case of a little
argument. Fin extensions may not be "show length," after a while. :-)
Never add a male to an established male's tank. He will defend his
territory to the death. Keep the boys in separate but adjacent jars while
the females get used to the tank for a few days. Then add both males at
the same time, so no one "owns" anything, yet, but they are used to seeing
each other.
I'd use at least two mops, plus some rocks, driftwood, fibrous peat, pots,
or other structure to give each male a chance to stake out a homestead for
himself.
Biggest problem with this setup (and trios) is the other female following
the spawning pair and lunching on nice caviar. Production of eggs may be
less than maximum, but how many do you want to raise, anyway?
