chrysotus and comparing this to your fish. Although I will never attempt to
definitively  predict what common name a fish shop will paste on its tanks
of commercially obtained killies, chrysotus are sometimes referred to as
golden wonders or golden-eared killies or something like that. Rarely are
A. panchax labeled golden anythings.

Secondly let me make another suggestion about further postings: This is
called "Killie-talk" because thats what the members want to focus on. We've
had an awful lot of "people-talk" in the last few days. If we restricted
our messages to fish (prefereably kiliies for me) and eliminated any
sentence or phrase that had a human being (including ourselves) as the
subject, indirect or direct object.....many of us might be happier.
