Hi Chris,  Since he still has some A.bitaeniatum listed for 15 a pair, no reserve, are you sure it wasn't for 2 pairs?  Also, some people are skittish about using priority mail, since the USPS has changed air carriers. It seems that if you label the box "live fish", the new carrier will not put them on a plane and they get sent the painfully slow ground only transportation.  We have been very successful though, when nothing is written on the box, sending priority.  I suspect if you told him to send priority in an unmarked box, he might do it.  I'm also fairly certain that what he is selling is adult fish that are throwing eggs right now.  15 a pair isn't great, but it is reasonable for breeding pairs.  I got a few pairs of A.splendopleure Tiko from him several years ago, because I was also getting some black banded sunfish from him, andI still have the Tiko's going (beautiful pop BTW). Ron
