Bill, didn't you come to my house and see tank after tank filled with
spaghnum moss? I think you need to come back, besides there are still a lot
bottles of that 'elixir' still here. It is calling you......
I love the spaghnum moss for Aphyosemions and Fundulopanchax. The fish do
too.
I am sure I am the only living proponent of using spaghnum moss for breeding
Fundulopanchax. But it works so nicely. Blue Gularis love it. I think right
now I probably have at least a little spaghnum moss in every tank I have
(80+). It easily lasts 9 months to a year, turns the water tannin brown,
does all kinds of good things to the water. The trick to it is to find the
shoebox sized bales that are brownish, not white with green in them. They
are also great for storing the eggs on. Only takes about a week to get a
handful of the stuff to sink if you are lucky.
