Ok Chris. I'm sure that many others will take up the cause in regards to
what you have stated about the parentage of wild killies, so I will only
address the above statement. Yes, I do care what kind of dog that I have.
She is a Britney Spaniel. That is important because I need a dog who
points, hunts in close, is good with upland game, retrieves and is small
enough and non hyper enough to live in the city. Every other breed that I
have checked out does not seem to have all of these attributes. It is of
coarse true that I could get lucky with a mutt, but by staying with a known
breed, I increase my odds of getting these behaviors. Now to bring this
conversation back to killies......... When I sell killies of a known
location to someone else by mail, they know what they will be just as if I
were to sell them a dog that was pure bred.
