I agree with these comments. Glass larvae are a great food but not suitable
in tanks containing fry or permanent breeding set ups. They last for a long
time in bags (perhaps longer than any other pond food). Also, if kept in
tubs in the garden they last for a long time.
Nutritionally they appear very good & I've had good egg yields using this
food.
In the UK I use one old established pond for glass larvae which is very deep
& houses carp. Their is enough larvae to go round.
