Re: DKG website- translations
I bought a program set called Systran. (http://www.systransoft.com)
One part is a program called systranet. It will translate(not a bad job) a
web page with a single click. . It is a "chepo" version of a more expensive
program (Professional version) but seems good enough. Many scientific terms
or odd linguistics of the hobby are not supported very well, but can be
intuitive if you know roughly what is being discussed. The complete program
translates Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese in both
directions. A second part (Systran personal)does text and will work with
email. Thing is, you better "back translate" if you use it to be sure it
says what you thought it should. Many times words just do not come out the
same. It is a big download so is best ordered via disk unless you have an
urge to get 60 + megabytes over a 56K modem.
There are some idioyncracies with PDF formatted things though. Need to copy
the page and paste into word to translate and repaste the translated
text.to get the translation.
Here is the translation of the DKG home page it gave:(this copy does not
show the initial page format, but the actual copy does hold format.)

Aphyosemion
At present AG Aphyosemion does not exist However Thomas Blum tinkers
straight at a Website Aphyosemion.de around. After the " Roloffias " and "
Fundulopanchax " were distinguished now also still from Aphyosemion, this
once largest Killifisch kind shrank substantially. Apart from the kinds of
the Elegans group, which is treated separately, still the fish from the
Cameronense group Calliurum group Ogoense group Diapteron ( one treats also
separately) and Kathetys belong to

Chromaphyosemion
Chromaphyosemion was raised only recently for independent kind. Rudolf
Pohlmann arranged a quantity of information over this kind on the Website
the AG Chromaphyosemion. Further...
Diapteron
Although officially under Aphyosemion classified, the 4 Diapteron kinds
leave themselves clearly of Aphyosemion to differentiate. The fish are very
small for Aphyosemions to breed relatively with difficulty and also only
rarely find therefore. The AG Diapteron by Klaus wave ring is led. Its own
Website of the AG does not give it at present, but nevertheless we arranged
still some further information about this group of kinds here.

Elegans group
Many kinds of the Elegans group disappear at present from the hobby. This
creeping process is connected with the fact that the VR the Congo cannot be
visited since some years no more for new gathering. The gabunensischen
representatives are relatively well common in the hobby. Axel Schwekendiek
on the side of the AG Elegans group gives further information.

Epiplatys
The group of the Hechtlinge seems somewhat abandoned to be momentary.
Although this large group has many friends under the Killianern, one hears
at present relatively few over Epiplatys and used kinds.

Eurasi kinds
With Heiko Kaerst we have fortunately a very much engaged AG leader for the
group of the Eurasi Killis. Under its guidance succeeded receiving many
kinds in the hobby, already become extinct in nature. Approaches info. gibts

Fundulopanchax
Also for Fundulopanchax there is at present no working group. Among this
kind the particularly large westernmost representatives of the kinds rank,

scheeli and F. sjoestedti

Shining eyes
The shining eye fish have their completely special attraction. Even if there
are no AG Leutaugenfi, then around Ralph Bavarian a group of friends
zusammengerauft itself nevertheless, who already for some time receive
different kinds of this group with good success.

North and central American kinds
Many north and Central American Killis are rare Pfleglinge in the numbers of
the DKG. the desert fish are extremely endangered and often already become
extinct particularly. Hubert wiping man can give Central American kinds
further information to the AG as leaders north and.

Nothobranchius
The interest in Nothobranchiusarten diminishes actually rarely. These fish
are always in demand and it new discovery site variants from East Africa are
also again and again flown. Steffen Fick worries as a director/conductor of
the AG Nothbranchius about these fish and develops probably its own Website
to this topic.

kinds. Rolf beautiful fields worries about the AG Rivulus

" Roloffia "
Although officially from the ICZN already for a long time decided, still
until recently the designation Roloffia was used in Germany. After a
kuerzlichen revision this kind was split up into three kinds - Callopanchax,
Scriptaphoysemion and Archiaphyosemion, whereby each further discussion
might have taken care of itself around this topic (for the time being). Even
if " Roloffia " does not exist thus officially any longer, there is still
another AG Roloffia and that is to remain also in such a way. The fish of
this group are always welcome to see only rare but. The AG momentarily by
Karl hitting a corner hard shrubs are led, which would be pleased surely
about somewhat more interests and inlet.

South American Bodenlaicher
The large group of the South American Bodenlaicher covers Killis from
different kinds. Despite export prohibition still many new kinds come to
Germany over the dispatch of eggs. At present it seems to give times again a
true boom from recent discoveries to. The AG Cynolebias by Wolfgang's
leather is led, the Website of the AG von Christian rosskopf is maintained.
