I have 5.0 ond Word 2000. It may work on some documents, but certainly
flunks on the roster.

And maybe Bill just posted the roster as a "locked" document? I still need
to go do what Scott suggested, and RTFM*.
I vaguely recall that I *have* been able to copy text from pdf files in the
past, but I used to have a full copy (3.0) so that might have been why.
