Although I have never actually seen this stupid guppy in real life (all
pink) I do recall it when it came out. It was about $200.00 a pair for best
quality. As I recall it was about 1978 or 1979.
And yes the first of any killie usually goes for big bucks. But the novelty
wears off fast. I have seen it and it is frightening. Within one year the
fish can go from gold to dirt. Especially if it is easy to breed.

How much do you think the first pair of albino gularis will go for? I
remember the first pink guppy many years back, The guy that deeloped that
strain made a mint on Pingu Pete's offsping. Pingu Pete was the first pink
guppy male.
