My Experience with A. Biv Funge and A. Bit. Benin City

I have to say that A. Biv. Funge and A. Bit. Benin
City are great beginner's killies(at least in my
case).

I got my first two pairs of A. Biv. Funge 4 months
ago. I put them in a 5 gallon tank and with a mop.
I've been getting 20+ eggs every week since then. The
males are always in great colors and flaring at each
other (May be that's the reason why they are in great
color). I always see them whenever I go near the tank.
They are not shy. Also, they don't eat much at all and
still prolific. The only problem I have with A. Biv.
Funge is that I'm having hard time to raise the frys.
I've lost lots fo frys already. I still haven't
figured out the reason why I lost them. They just died
suddenly after couple weeks. Can anyone please share
your experience of raising the Funge's frys with me?

I bought my first pair of A. Bit. Benin City 2 months
ago at the WAKO auction. The pair gives me average of
20 eggs every week too and doesn't eat much either.
I'm raising the frys now and hopefully they are not as
fragile as the A. Biv. Funge's frys.

I won't hesitate to give these fish a try if you get a
chance to get them. I might try other A. Biv. and A.
Bit. when I get the chance to.
