australes not laying eggs

I have a pair of a. australe gold's in a community tank with 2 catfish,
4 rasboras, a pleco and a pair of dwarf gouramis.I have an airstone, and
a filter. My killi's however are not even laying eggs. Does anyone have
any suggestions?
