ARK December Meeting 12/08
This SATURDAY is the ARK December Meeting/Party. We start at 1:30. The
location is the Round Table Pizza on the northwest corner of Ray and Rural
Roads in south Tempe. Check our website at http://ark.killi.net for
directions.
The first agenda item is lunch. The club is springing for pizza!
The auction will begin about 2:00. Bring your killies, other small unusual
fish, aquatic plants, and live food cultures. You receive 70% of the
proceeds and the club keeps 30%. The auction is open to everyone attending.
The program is by Gary Kukowski. It is entitled "So You Want to be an
Ichthyologist?" Gary has presented this at the Dry Wash Aquarium Society
and people had a good time with it.
After the program, we will have our Holiday gift drawing. ARK has purchased
a case of 12 16-oz cans of baby brine shrimp eggs, several companies (Hikari
USA and San Francisco Bay Brand) have provided donations, and we expect some
local stores to contribute. This is a fun way to end the year.
