RE: Earthworms - Spam

Hi George,

Until a few months ago I would have agreed with you. Now that I have Fp. Kribianus Fafinda yellow. I just toss in the worms and the fish bite chunks off as they go. They may not swallow the whole thing at one time but they are more than capable of chomping off a bite size segment. I have also seen some pretty big Gularis which I am sure can do the same thing or possibly swallow the worm whole.

While you are right for the most part I am sure that there are other exceptions which I have not listed. I think that there is an 8 inch Notho out there.  If it eats like its smaller counterparts I would assume that it to might be added to the list of exceptions.

Best regards,

To think that any killie adult will eat a whole earth worm is ridiculous. Most are way to small for that unless you are talking about some small earth worms. Normally the worms need to be chopped into pieces small enough for the killies to consume. Some find that by freezing the worms they are less messy to chop prior to feeding.
