Finally have something to post and have come out of lurking mode. Having a
problem with Stargrass (H. Zosterifolia). Edges of the leaves are turning
black. Tank parameters to follow:
Physical Parameters:
Tank: 75 gallons
Filtration: Wet/Dry with one overflow
Lighting: 4X96, Lighting regime 2X96 ON 12hrs then 2X96 ON 6 hrs
Co2 Injected: 10 bubbles/s (Yes /s)
Chemical Parameters
NO3 - 10-20 ppm (High fish load)
PO4 - do not test
Fe- do not test
KH - 4
Gh - 7
Ph - 6.4(Morning) - 6.8(Night)
Temp - 78°C(Morning)-84°C(Night)
Fertilization:
Trace per PMMD (Sears/Conlin) - 20ml every 2 days
K2SO4 - 1/2 Tablespoon every 2 days
MgSO4 - 1 Tablespoon every 2 days
I recieved these plants as cuttings from Arthur Westover, finally won a bid
on Aquabid. Is this some sort of deficiency, macro/micro? All
