CO2 & O2 Levels

You are correct in thinking that you can have high CO2 and High O2 levels at
the same time. The amount of gas in a solution is not affected by another
gas in solution. From a biological standpoint though....hemoglobin or what
carries oxygen in the blood has a higher affinity (it would rather carry) for
CO2 than O2 which is bad for the fish even if the O2 is in high quantity.
