Hi there
	The surface extractor or Fiddleless Surface Skimmer that I 
made is at this URL http://www.vaxxine.com/martinhouse . Its been 
running now for over 4 months and I'd like to report that this thing 
still works. When I do the weekly cleanings I just check to see if 
the inside pipe still floats freely and clean if necessary. CO2 loss 
doesn't seem to be a problem with me either. This thing can be made 
with a gravel vacuum and another smaller pipe with a piece of 
styrofoam. It is very easy to make. Give it a try.
