Re: Sword plant propagation..

Plunk your favorite sword plant into a neglected, unheated tank. Preferably
without fish. Don't do any water changes or even top off the tank except
when the filter starts to run dry and the racket is driving you completely
crazy. When you've finally given up on the tank and decided to break it
down, pull up the sword plant. You'll have at least a half dozen baby
plants growing from the initial root stock, feeding off of the decaying
outer leaves of the original plant.
