Hello All,

I am new at keeping plant tanks and am being surprised on a daily basis.

I have had my tank set up for about a week and a half its a 55 gal. with

a fluval 404 and a DIY Co2. I have 2 Corys, 4 Rasboras, and snails (I
don't know how I got them or what kind they are but they don't seem to
be eating the plants Yet...).

I have noticed something weird this mornings though there were bubbles
all around the edges of the tank and on the surface were the Vals had
reached the top. I am wondering if this is normal?

I have also been thinking of adding a hang-on protein skimmer any
suggestions?
