All those soils which you mentioned sound like very good terrestrial
soils but none of them are suitable as a general amendment to the
substrate because they are too labile and fertile. If you didn't get
green water or cyanobacteria, you would probably find a very heavy
growth of bacterial slime for the first few months if you use very much
of it.

You could use small amounts of that kind of soil in pots but there is no
reason to purchase an exotic soil for that purpose. I've had pretty good
results just using subsoil.

For beginners, I'd just recommend the clay ball approach. Much less
potential for mess.
