My first 225 gallon tank was braceless (72x24x28H). It used 5/8" and 3/4"
plate glass and weighed 600 lbs empty. Given this, I'd imagine a 72x36x36
may be possible, but I wouldn't want to mess with it due to depth and
weight.
When I was moving and was looking for help with the tank, most of my friends
seemed to have left the country:)
