David Berryman posted the example of watch pieces not
organizing themselves into a watch and Tom Wood wrote
"Design implies intent, and intent implies Mind at work." 
That is the truly beautiful part of Evolution: the lack of design 
(in the sense of a blueprint) and intent in the mechanism.
This is explained in "The Blind Watchmaker: Why the Evidence
of Evolution Reveals a Universe Without Design" by Richard Dawkins.

I remember a cartoon with two goldfish chatting in a bowl and
the caption "OK, if there is no God, who changes the water
every day?"
