as for the 'wild' DNA wouldn't a species from someone else's tank to cross
pollinate with be adequate? say an exchange of some sorts.

Plus I do realize that the major factors are timber and cattle in the
amazon but then again you have to realize slices of pie make up the entire
pie :)
