Also, what kind of MH system are you using (Corallife)?  If you want to get
a really reliable MH system try PFO lighting MH systems (you can get them
at Reefers www.acropora.com).  This system has really gained a good rep in
the reef aquariums over the last 1.5 years.  For a good MH bulb try the
Iwasaki (EYE) 6500K bulbs (in 70/150 in medium base and 250/400 watt
versions in mogal base).  They are quite cheap (around $60-70 US) and they
last up to 2 years before you need to change them (color shift, but for
plants, they could probably last longer).  The author of the DIY CF
lighting article also tested MH bulbs recently and this bulb has a really
good par value.
