Oh my yes! try getting a fish that eats green (usually that's the kind that
get on leaves of the slower growing anubias, swords) algae. I think you'll
find that most people will recommend SAE's and I think these guys are
really good at keeping this kind of problem in check. "Ottos" are good too
and probably easier to find. If you want a different solution, usually it
will rub off the leaves without much trouble. So the answer to your
question is definately, "yes!", your plants can be rescued.
