RE: low crypts



    If you have good lighting a favorite is C. parva. I have one that is
called C. nevillii by Barry James's book that's nice. Another I bought some
years ago was called C grasserii that was like a light brown wendtii that
produced leaves that grew flat with the ground raising up only about 3
inches max. Another that Barron's Aquarium Plant's Manual by Scheurmann
calls willisii is a great find too. C. willisii that is usually sold is also
a good plant being easy to grow. C albina is interesting  but a little
taller. 
There are others but getting them is not the easiest nor are some of these
for that matter. LFS's  carry these kinds of plants? Not in my area!
