Many welding shops will sell you a tank (mine was $115 US), and then at refill time they will swap out the whole tank, rather than take the time to fill it while you wait. This means you don't have to mess with renting the tank, but you also don't have to worry about getting it pressure tested. My local shop, Cascade Airgas, does this for about $14. Justin Collins
