Re:Beard Algae

Hi Sam,
I had very much problems with beard algae for a
long time. Then I did two changes:

 1: I reduced my filter to 200 l/h (200 l tank!!)
    It brouhgt a little success.
 2: I checked the phosphate, it was >5mg/l;
    it was possible to reduce phosphate to <0,5mg/l
    by using "phosvec" from SERA(fantastic product).

Step 2 brought a very good result, it took 2 weeks
and the beard algae have been gone. No damage to the 
plants.

My advice: check your phosphate!It should be <1,0mg/l.
