RE;Giant chain swords



As I recall, Sags have a very rounded leaf tip.They tend to send runners
deeper than the chain swords which stay on the substrate surface or
alittle below. E.tenellus has a pointed leaf tip and a distinct midrib.
E.quad has leaf wdiths of about 10 mm or so in submersed growth .I don't
recall seeing much, if any midrib in E.quad. Sounds like tenellus from
the emersed growth and submersed growth. Hope this helps.
