Ludwigia species sold by Tropica or Dennerle here in Europe are not so many
and they are coming all from the same continent, America with the only
exception of Ludwigia Glandulosa(perennis) that comes from South-East Asia.
They _all_ thrive well in a range of temperature from 20C to 28C, which is
absolutely normal for a planted aquarium.
Some of them will turn red if it's present a large amount of light, soft
water with enough CO2 and the _right_ nutrients. I think these parameters
have definitely more influence in turning leaves and stems red than
temperature.
