I'm no expert here. CO2 pressure is usually 800 - 900psi. An empty cylinder could still register over 500psi. With that in mind, I'm not so sure what you will get if a tank only held 50psi or so. Probably no CO2 would be released. That is why we use a dual gauge system. One to measure the high pressure (800psi), and the other used to control the output, (3 - 4psi). David Lorenzen
