I found at my LFS a product called "Bright and Clear" by Mardel Laboritories. It claims to "clear cloudyness and remove excess phosphates". It says it has a softening effect on the water and does not upset biological filters. Should this be used for clearing cloudyness?. Does anyone have any ideas on how it reduces phosphates and would there be any unwanted side effects?. Thank you. David Brooks
