I have just finished reading a book in Marine Ecology and while it is not
discussing fw, it is interesting how the little guys (plankton in the ocean
and small critters in the sand/mud) serve as the base of the food chain.
It has made me think a lot about raising fish and how adding baby brine
shrimp may not be near as good an idea as fostering the growth of
animacules using java moss and roots of floating plants.
