Just to let people know that this isn't just a localized find, I got two Amano books
at Pet Smart for $3 each.  They are the black books, so I guess book one.  I found
them in the Springfield, Virginia Pet Smart.  I would recommend calling around
different pet Smarts in your area and asking if they stock any Amano books.  I would
also recommend calling twice and maybe checking in person if you are really serious
about finding the books.  The book sections in Pet Smart are usually completely
unordered, so finding any particular book takes some time, and the people who work
there aren't exactly dedicated to fulfilling customer needs, so they might not search
too hard.  

Has anyone found any Amano books other than book one on discount?
