Just one addition to Wayne Jones' good post on parallel ballasts. GE lists a "B232R120HP" parallel wired rapid start ballast in their "GE Electronic Ballasts" brochure as being able to drive one or two F32T8 lamps, in addition to a few parallel wired instant start ballasts. But as Wayne said, for long cycle times, an instant start ballast is more efficient.
