Green thread algae

Thanks to the many folks that suggested using Ghost Shrimp to clear up green
thread algae. Unfortunately, my scouring of the entire area I live in only
produced 40 of them within a 50 mile radius.

The problem started when I lost my mind and let the iron levels get out of
hand. The shrimp are not making much of a dent in the algae, actually, they
are losing the war.

I have another 100 shrimp on order, but may not see them for a while. Any
other ideas to clean up 200 plants in a 225 gallon tank? I've seen people
mention black sailfin mollies, I'm not sure I want to mess with livebearers.
but if they REALLY eat this stuff, I'll try them.

I don't supposed my SAEs will ever eat this stuff?
