Kelly let me add one thing to suggestion. Hot Magnum 250 (or
350)!! I to had a green water outbreak once. I covered my
tank with a blanket for 3 days to block all light. Then ran
the Hot Mag with the pleated filtered and presto no more
green water!
A couple of weeks latter we started to notice a hint of
green in the water again. We just ran the filter for 12-16
hours and that solved it.
