Any ideas how to keep the pressure up?

Set up a "Management by Objectives" program and send it lots of intimidating
memos :-).

What recipe are you using for your yeast? I rarely have to wait longer than
3 or 4 hours for mine to build up sufficient pressure, and I have a pretty
"tough to blow through" check valve in line. It lasts about 3 weeks, though
the rate declines the whole time.
