Hi there!

PMDD stands for Poor Man's Dupla Drops. IT's a liquid daily fertilizer made
by Colin and Sears. It's homemade with trace elements and some other macro
elements (such as Mg, or nitrates when necessary). You can find more infos
about it on the Krib pages.

Of course it's a very cheap fertilizer but very effective.
What is really important for you to understand is that more than a
fertilizer PMDD is an approach, a method to "DRIVE" your tank to have a
good plants growth and a very strict control on algae at the same time. So
their method is generally valid even withOUT using the PMDD, but its
advantage - beside the cheap cost - is that you know EXACTLY what you are
giving to your plants and so you "should" understand better what is going
on and what else your plants might need (and what is indeserable too!!).
