Fluoerescent tube nomenclature

>Hello everyone. Just have a quick question. What does, 'f30t12' 'f24t12
>'f40t12' refer to in the listings of catalogs about electronic ballasts?

The "f" and "t" don't mean much, if anything. The number after the f is the
number of watts of the tube. The number after the t refers to the "series" of
the tube, which is in a sense, diameter.
