Neil Frank found a reference on the net back in Aug of 95 that defined
vermiculite. The description mentioned that you should, "Avoid adding to
clayey soils." Has anyone here tried adding it to kitty litter or laterite
with success? I'm considering a kitty litter, vermiculite and possible peat
combination substrate for a cool water tank containing water cress,
creeping Jenny and Ludwidgia repens and other pond plants. Thanks.
